Roblox Poster

This is a poster of my favourite game to play in my free time; Roblox. I used canva to make it which I learnt to use canva in my time doing cybersmart.

I included some of the original games that are some of the most popular and played games on the platform. If you don’t know what Roblox is, it is a platform or app you can get on any device and can play with friends and family. It has heaps of games you can play including obbies, creative games, simulators, tycoons and building games.

It’s great to play when bored and does have some games that allow you to learn and create things in games.

Superhero

Gourmet Chef of The Sewers

Name: Roasty Raccoon

World they live in: A Dumpster outside of a restaurant (somewhere in France)

Family Connections: (Father) Remy Ratatouille, (Mother) Unknown, (Brother) Rocket Raccoon, (Sister) Sisterless

Transportation: His Fry Pan (sits on the handle of the frypan and flies like a witch on a broomstick) , takes a while to start up

Nemesis: Gordon Ramsay ( is jealous of his fame )

Love Interest: Every girl that eats at the restaurant he lives outside of (watches them through window)

Friends/Sidekick: (Father) Remy Ratatouille, (cooks gourmet dishes together)

Abilities / Weakness: Persuades anyone from the smell of his delicious homemade cuisines. Uses his flying frypan to his advantage Weaknesses: His smelliness, Lack of ingredients (although just steals from the restaurants storage room)

Weapons: Again, his steel frypan

Challenges they face: Having only the presence of himself, having to see Gordon Ramsay’s face on a billboard all the time

Netball

This year I played in the Coley Street Year 7&8 A team. I hadn’t played since year 4 which I had to re-learn the rules. I think playing netball is a fun sport and I enjoyed learning the positions again and places that are out of bounds for certain positions. I think the confusing part for me was who should take the obstructions and contacts, as well as which position should take the ball from when it goes out of the court. For my positions I mostly played Goal Defence and Center.

This year we won our grade competition and played in a Tournament at the Levin Donnelly Park. There was also another team called the B team that also won their grade.

 

My Digital Life Collage

Today we got to display all the things we have created and pictures we’ve screenshotted and put it on a collage. On this collage I put the fake instagram I made, and two photos from it, as well as a photo of the school canopy and me and my friends at the entrance of the school and the fake magazine, as well as news.

We also got to show what apps we had been on and say our favourite things to do online.

Fake Instagram

Today we learnt about scams, fake instagrams, fake movie titles and the dos and not dos when receiving fake mail and scams. I made a fake instagram page which supposedly is “The Lorax’s”. While making the pictures for the fake instagram account I had to grab photos and put the lorax on them. We got to pick out of making a fake movie picture, creating a postcard and writing to people, or the fake instagram.
